I remember Mrs. Curtis from KHS, but mostly I remember her as choir director at St. Marks UMC.  Loved her music talents.

I loved Jean Curtis.  After we moved to Poquoson, she and Georgw had already moved there.  Her youngest son and my daughter were in the same graduating class.  We became good friends.  I visited her often when she was sick.  Was so sad when she died.  Breast cancer was the culprit.

I went to St Mark's one Sunday just to watch her direct the choir.  She taught me to use my talent as an alto.  I am forever grateful that she was teacher and friend.
