He was predeceased by : his parents, Kemp Wayne Parrish and Oletha Brown Parrish; his sons, David Scott Parrish and Adam Joseph Parrish; his siblings, Leon Parrish and Joann Hill; and his niece Amy Roberts.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Parker Parrish; his nephews, J. P. Hill, Kemp Parrish and Christopher George; and his siblings-in-law, Pamela George (Connan) and Jerry Hill. He is also survived by One aunt and many cousins.
