Donna Redmond Lloyd, age 75 of Boiling Springs, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 4, 2023.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Lemons and Husband Jason Lemons Sr. of Jonesville, SC, three grandchildren, Amber Bumgarner of Spartanburg, SC, Emily Lemons of Spartanburg, SC, and Jason Lemons Jr. of Jonesville, SC, and a brother, Walter Redmond of Newport News, VA.

Born August 20, 1948, in Cleveland County, NC, Donna was the daughter of the late Talmadge Redmond and Louise Robbs Foster and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Edward Lloyd, and a brother, Reggie Redmond.

Donna was an avid UNC Tarheels basketball fan. She enjoyed her workout classes at the YMCA and knitting blankets for her family. Donna worked and retired as a nurse from the Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved talking on the phone with her friend of 63 years, Susan Hoffman. She was a faithful member of Springmore Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Springmore Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Norman and Rev. David Jones. A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
