Kathleen Wolfrom Krol, a Hampton native and former Hampton city school teacher, passed away at Fair Oaks Hospital, Fairfax, Virginia on 14 December 2017. She was 70 years old. Kathleen Maude Wolfrom was born September 1, 1947 at Portsmouth Naval Hospital to CWO2 Edward Albert Wolfrom, USN and Jennie Nickwedowich Wolfrom. She attended Hampton High School, and graduated from Kecoughtan High School in 1965. In 1969, she graduated from Longwood College. She taught Home Economics at C. Vernon Spratley Junior High School. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Sunrise Senior Living at Fair Oaks in Fairfax, Virginia. Pre-deceased by her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Lewis J. Wolfrom of Atlantic Beach, Florida, Thomas E. Wolfrom of Bealeton, Virginia, and Joseph A. Wolfrom of Jessup, Maryland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Hampton, VA on Friday, 1 June at 1:00 PM, followed by internment at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
