Helen Atwell, who ran the bookstore at school, I believe died in Norfolk in 1977, I am not completely sure of that; her son Jack was a good friend of mine; he had a master's degree in Russian history from The University of Washington, Seattle and a Ph.d in Russian history from Princeton; a great guy and tough as nails in political arguments; we really enjoyed each other's company.
