ELIZABETH M. COOK

Elizabeth Marchant Cook, 77, a Hampton resident from 1911 to 1984 and sister of Sadie M. Perkins of Hampton, died Wednesday, May 24, in Hermitage Retirement Home.

Mrs. Cook retired from the City of Hampton Public School System in 1976 where she had served as secretary and administrative assistant to principals at Hampton, Pembroke and Kecoughtan high schools.

A member of Hampton Baptist Church, Mrs. Cook was also a member of Hampton Woman's Club and served as a volunteer for Mental Retardation Association.

Other survivors include three sons, Larry M. Cook and Ronald Cook, both of Springfield and Lemuel Stephen Cook of Phoenix, Ariz.

Mrs. Cook's remains have been donated to the Virginia Anatomical Society of Richmond as she requested.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
