HAMPTON - Barbara Sheene Rowe, 62, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
Born in Campbell County, Va., she had been a Hampton resident since 1955. Barbara was a 1966 graduate of Kecoughtan High School and a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church.
Barbara is survived by her husband, William F. Rowe; sons, Wayne Kostyal and Richard Anderson; stepson, William F. Rowe Jr.; stepdaughter, Shannon Rowe; mother, Margaret Sheene; sister, Sandra Mae Ward; brothers, Bruce Anthony Sheene, Robert Sheene; and many grandchildren including Devin Kostyal and Madison Lee Rowe.
Preceded in death by her father, George Sheene.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church by the Rev. Wayne C. Moore with interment to follow in Clark Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
