Danny Craig Wyatt, 61, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mr. Wyatt was a native of Danville and formerly of Corpus Christi, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from civil service as an education services specialist for the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Mr. Wyatt loved the ocean, scuba diving and skiing.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Ann Chavez-Wyatt; his mother, Ursell Hundley Tignor and his step-father, Warren, of Williamsburg; two daughters, Teresa Leigh Wyatt and Tressa Wyatt, both of Pennsylvania; his stepbrother, Gary W. Tignor of Gloucester; his stepsister, Deborah A. Tignor-Brown of Davie, Fla.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Reid officiating. Interment will be private.
