Teacher Memories

Just wanted to start this thread to collect a few of the many fond memories we share.

This is one that came from Henry Collins on Mr. Bell:

"Thanks for organizing this, Don. My most vivid memory of Mr. Bell
was when we heard the news of President Kennedy’s assassination while
in his class. His look of anguish immediately signaled not only Mr.
Bell’s personal loss as (I presume) a supporter, but also suggested
that we were entering a period of history unlike any in recent memory.
I think I was sitting in the first or second row (doubtless so he
could keep an eye on me), so I remember his reaction quite well.

I won’t be able to make it, but appreciate your creating the opportunity.

Best wishes,

Henry" Collins, Henry <HCOLLINS@meridian.org>"
