ANNOUNCEMENTS

Effective July 1, 2013, I took on a new law partner, Jesse T. Coyle, and the old partner Rick Graves left to form his own firm. The new firm is Webb & Coyle, PLLC. Still located at 910 N. Sandhills Blvd., Aberdeen, NC. www.webbcoyle.com

Effective June 19, 2013, Governor Pat McCrory signed into law the NC Captive Insurance Company Act which had been lobbied for by the NC Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA). I was the original founding Chair of the NCCIA, and was re-elected as such on Friday 12/20/13 to serve until the end of 2014. www.nccia.org

Effective 12/31/13, the NC Dept. of Insurance licensed the first Protected Cell Captive Insurance Company (PCCIC) in NC. Webb & Coyle, PLLC handled the legal work for the new PCCIC. Three other "pure" captives were also licensed (using other attorneys) but our PCCIC was the first -- and so far -- the only protected cell company.

For those who have suggestions for our 50/51 reunion, we'd love to hear them. Post here or contact us through the web site. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Penney Stott Martin.   Added by Debbie Outten -  Go to USER FORUM which is right under Message Forum to post comments.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM OUR REUNION COMMITTEE!!!!

Next reunion will bethe 50th for '66 Grads and 51st for '65 Grads which will be in 2016, probably October-November!!!

To all those who remember:

  • walking the "hallowed halls" of KHS where there lingered no SENIORS!!!
  • in August 1963, a silent, brand new, empty, and beautiful school
  • in September 1963, a lively, bustling, animated gathering forum for education, friendship and fun, fun, fun
  • naming "Allowt Sachem"
  • WE BEAT HAMPTON and Szetela took a gigantic bath from the Buckroe pier - the mighty WARRIORS crushed the CRABS
  • I'm a raindrop, I'm a raindrop, I'm a raindrop from the sky, But I'd rather be a raindrop, Than a drip from Hampton High!!
  • young folks with pride in their school and hope for the years to come
  • Good friends are like stars.... You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.
  • OPERATION SHOW YOUR COLORS     "Americans are serving the cause of freedom in Viet Nam. I wear my country's flag to show that I support their efforts."      sponsored by the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary
